Just got back from band practice. One of the singers has quit the band for reasons unknown. While this means that I have gained more songs to sing, it's gonna suck because she was one of the band members that I actually liked. Unfortunately, her asshole brother, who is the other lead singer, doesn't seem to be leaving anytime soon. Yay me.

Besides that, with our guitarist heading off to college, the band has no guitar. We're is going to look for potential bandmates tomorrow.

We tried our hands at writing an original song. It is a lot harder than it sounds, especially since I'm the lyricist. I have something barely resembling a song, but it's mostly "da-nan"s instead of actual words. Will be working on that for the rest of the week. I've gotten as far as the first two verses and the bridge. I pray to God that I don't forget the melody.

I just found out that Billy Mays is dead too.
May he loudly pitch Oxi Clean to the denizens of the afterlife.
